Buying or Selling in Boulder, County? Why Have Your Home Inspected?


If you're selling your home, it's always a good idea to have your home inspected before you put it on the market.  Doing so gives you the opportunity to repair anything you might not already know about or that might not be immediately visable to a potential buyer.  A completed home inspection report, prepared by a certified home inspector will put you in a stronger negotiating postion and reduce any potential liability.  It will also provide assurance to buyers that everything is in tip top shape!

Conversely, when you are buying a home, you want to know about any problems either the seller didn't know about, or didn't bother to disclose, before you purchase; not afterwards.   Either way, knowledge is key, you want to know!  Not only can unforseen problems be expensive to repair,  there may be underlying health risks too, such as a radon level that's too high, the presence of mold, etc.
